To the Bacci family, Sincere condolences to you during this difficult time. My dad Ken Norbury worked at Blakes motors on Greengate and I used to often go with him to your depot at Strangeways in the 70s and 80s. My dad would sometimes be invited to watch greyhound, horse racing and go to United with “Raff”. Happy memories. Kind regards
As you once watched over us from your office, sometimes with a smile, sometimes telling us off. It brings me joy to think that you're now watching over us in a different way. You'll always be there in our hearts and memories. Nonno, thank you for working so hard, working so well and still being you. One final thank you from me (a slightly more selfish one) Thank you for inspiring a great work ethic in me that will keep me going for the rest of my days.
Nonno, You'll be sorely missed but the memories will always be with us. From naps in your office chair, amazing holidays away, you waking up at 6am to get towels down so ALL of us could hang out all day and night together, the lessons learned at work, how you'd let us clear Woolworth's pick and mix aisles, all the meals out with you and nonna which, unsurprisingly, were always at an Italian and so many more. We learned so much from you and your patient, welcoming and loving presence will always be felt. Love always Alessio & Laura
